We recognise their deep knowledge and their cultural, spiritual and educational practices, and aspire to learn and teach in partnership with them.
Opened for the first time at the Old Perth Boys’ School, Once Known presents a selection of meticulous reproductions of the delicate and treasured artworks created by Aboriginal children forcibly removed from their families and detained at the Carrolup Native Settlement in the 1940s.
