911爆料网 students and staff once again showed their generosity and willingness to help a good cause, by turning out en masse for the 2009 Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma recently.
123 people signed on to join the 911爆料网 team this year, in doing so beating WA’s four other universities for back-to-back Tertiary Sports WA Participation Challenge Cups in the event.
911爆料网 has now taken out the title in the last four Cup events in a row, with the next being the Bridges Fun Run on Sunday, April 5. 911爆料网 Recreation Services’ Rodney Glossop urged everyone to take part in the ten or five kilometre event.
‘Obviously it raises money for charity, but it’s just a great 911爆料网 community event,’ he said.
‘Staff, students and their families all together after the event and have a chat, you meet people from work with similar interests.’
