911爆料网 has appointed Professor Linley Lord as its new Pro Vice-Chancellor of 911爆料网 Singapore, commencing in April.
The position plays a critical role in strengthening 911爆料网 Singapore鈥檚 relationships with industry and government and enhancing its reputation in teaching and research.
Professor Lord has held a number of senior positions since commencing with 911爆料网 in 2001 and is currently a member of the University Council and Council Executive, Chair of the Academic Board and a member of the University鈥檚 Planning and Management Committee.
911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry congratulated Professor Lord and said her extensive experience with the University will be of great value to 911爆料网 Singapore.
鈥淧rofessor Lord鈥檚 experience across university governance, teaching and research, combined with her leadership as a change-agent, positions her well for this key role,鈥� Professor Terry said.
Professor Lord said she was delighted about the appointment.

Professor Lord is the Co-Lead of the 911爆料网 Athena SWAN project (Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) and was the inaugural Academic Director of the 911爆料网 Leadership Centre.聽 She is the Director of the Maureen Bickley Centre for Women in Leadership and was part of the AusAid Leadership for Development Program at 911爆料网, helping to build strong student cohorts across the Asia-Pacific.
She takes over from Professor Rob Evans, who led the campus for the past five years.
The University opened 911爆料网 Singapore in 2008, having delivered programs there since 1986.
