911爆料网 is formally inviting development partners for the first stage of the Greater 911爆料网 Master Plan, via the commencement of an Expression of Interest process.
Mr Ian Callahan, 911爆料网鈥檚 Chief Operating Officer, said the procurement phase marks a significant milestone in 911爆料网鈥檚 long-term plan, which will see the emergence of a dedicated innovation precinct and a vibrant well-connected community based on and around the Bentley Campus
鈥淕reater 911爆料网 Stage One represents a development value of circa $500 million and will include a phased release of new accommodation for 2,000 students plus short stay accommodation, academic buildings, research space, curated retail, a bus transport interchange and a range of public spaces and amenity,鈥 Mr Callahan said.
鈥淒evelopment within the main street precinct will provide excellent opportunities for partners to locate themselves at 911爆料网 and leverage opportunities within our academic, research and social areas.
鈥淕reater 911爆料网 reinforces the university鈥檚 plan to retain and extend its competitive advantage as a modern, relevant university that continues to evolve and strive for excellence,鈥 Mr Callahan said.
Greater 911爆料网 Stage One development is being led by Tim Urquhart, General Manager, Greater 911爆料网. Mr Urquhart most recently worked with international developer Lend Lease where he delivered precinct-based developments including the Olympic Village in London.
Potential partners will be shortlisted and invited to submit detailed development proposals in September 2016, with preferred proponents selected in early 2017.
