911爆料网 will open its Year 12 applications three months early and expand its entry options to help high school leavers and mature aged learners disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
911爆料网 has worked closely with WA鈥檚 Tertiary Institution Service Centre (TISC) to open up 2021 university applications for all Year 12鈥檚 students, on 18th May 2020. Year 12 students can now apply to 911爆料网 and receive an offer for a range of courses based on their predicted ATAR, calculated from Year 11 results.
The new pathway for Year 12s adds to 911爆料网鈥檚 existing and wide-ranging options which include portfolio entry, UniReady, enabling pathways and the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT).
In addition, 911爆料网 has introduced 鈥楢ccess 911爆料网鈥�, a new alternative pathway to university. This will be of most interest to mature entrants and allows applicants who meet English and any specified prerequisites to be considered for a place in courses that have a 70 ATAR requirement. Applicants within this pathway will need to pass two units within the first four units in order to progress.
911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said while these options are not a replacement for the standard pathways, it was important to provide some security for future students in these uncertain times.
鈥淲e understand this is a very stressful period for the graduating cohort of 2020 and for those planning to return to study and we want to do everything we can to provide as much support and flexibility as possible for them,鈥� Professor Terry said.
鈥淲e鈥檝e worked with TISC to enable students to apply early so they can focus on their studies with the reassurance that they can take advantage of a range of entry and application options into 911爆料网.
鈥淎fter application, 911爆料网鈥檚 team will assess the information and guide students through the process to ensure they can access the right course and pathway for them.鈥�
