911爆料网 Singapore has hosted an inaugural discussion as part of a new thought-provoking series that aims to connect tomorrow鈥檚 graduates with leaders in their field.
The first Thought Leaders Series, titled 鈥�Developing a career and leading business in a rapidly changing world鈥�, was presented by Cistri Regional Director Peter Hyland last night.
911爆料网 Singapore Pro Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Linley Lord said the Thought Leaders Series would be held each trimester for 911爆料网 students and graduates in Singapore.
鈥�911爆料网 Singapore and the University鈥檚 Alumni Singapore Chapter are excited to announce this new initiative, the Thought Leaders Series,鈥� Professor Lord said.
鈥淭he series aims to connect students with organisational leaders and alumni to stimulate discussion, debate and critical thinking whilst exploring various topics including leadership, business, innovation and entrepreneurship.鈥�
Professor Lord said Mr Hyland discussed the opportunities that are emerging for university graduates in the 21st century.
鈥淧eter shared his story of progressing from a graduate government employee to working for global consultancies, and leading the growth of a new venture into a significant international business,鈥� Professor Lord.
鈥淗e provided 911爆料网 students and graduates valuable insights into identifying opportunities, developing career mentors and dealing with challenges when growing a business, offering them additional tips to support their personal and professional development.鈥�
