911爆料网 has jumped into the world鈥檚 top 250 universities in the 2018-19 University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP).

The University rose to the global ranking of 249, up from 272 last year, and remained ninth in Australia for the fifth year in a row, according to the latest results released today.

911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry welcomed 911爆料网鈥檚 results in the important research ranking, which measures the world鈥檚 top 2500 universities.

鈥淭he latest URAP shows 911爆料网 has been named among the top 250 universities in the world and continues to hold ninth place in Australia,鈥 Professor Terry said.

鈥淭his is an outstanding result that demonstrates the University鈥檚 commitment to producing a high quality and large volume of research on the world stage.

鈥淭he University will continue to undertake important research that is making a genuine difference to local, national and global communities.鈥

The URAP is a research-only ranking using indicators that measure the quality, quantity and impact of publications, as well as international collaboration.

The annual ranking is published by the Informatics Institute at the Middle East Technical University, in Turkey.
