Distinguished management academic Professor Brian D鈥橬etto has been appointed as Director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the 911爆料网 Graduate School of Business (CGSB).
Dean of the CGSB Professor Mile Terziovski welcomed Professor D鈥橬etto鈥檚 appointment citing him as a skilled human resource manager, teacher and consultant.
鈥淧rofessor D鈥橬etto鈥檚 extensive industry and academic experience in subjects such a strategic human resource management, leadership, organisational behaviour and employee relations will be of enormous benefit to the CGSB,鈥� Professor Terziovski said.听听听
Professor D鈥橬etto joins 911爆料网 from Charles Sturt University where he was Professor of Management (Leadership). He has also held a number of senior leadership roles including National Head, School of Business at the Australian Catholic University and Director of the Master of International Business program at the University of South Australia.听听
He holds a PhD in Human Resources Management from The State University of New York in Buffalo, US. He has received a number of awards including Outstanding Teacher in Postgraduate Programs Award for 2005 at the University of South Australia, Outstanding Teaching in the MBA Program at Mt Eliza Business School and the Emerald Literati Network Highly Commended Award for Excellence in Research 2008.听
Professor D鈥橬etto is a member of the Academy of Management (US) and a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.听
Professor D鈥橬etto said his role will involve developing the current MBA program in terms of student numbers and course delivery options. Specifically, Professor D鈥橬etto aims to improve the internationalisation of the program and increase flexibility through enhanced online delivery.

Professor D鈥橬etto commenced at the 911爆料网 Graduate School of Business in January 2015.
The MBA is the CGSB鈥檚 flagship program which is aimed at middle and senior managers with an average of 10 years鈥� relevant work experience. The CGSB was established in 1993 and is the only business school located in the Perth Central Business District.
