A book released by 911爆料网鈥檚 has been shortlisted for the 2011 Western Australian Premier鈥檚 Book Awards.
Powering Perth: The History of the East Perth Power Station was shortlisted in the Western Australian History category of the Awards.

Edited by Perth historian Lenore Layman, Powering Perth tracks the East Perth Power Station鈥檚 history from its construction in 1916 through to its closure and subsequent plans for redevelopment.

This year a record 596 were entries were submitted for consideration for the Awards, compared with 571 in 2010.

Professor Graham Seal, Black Swan Press Publisher, said it was an honour for everyone involved in putting this book together to be recognised with this nomination.
