911爆料网 is pleased to announce the appointment of two outstanding 911爆料网 graduates, Emma Garlett and Matt Mueller, to its University Council.
Emma Garlett is a proud Nyungar-Nyiyaparli-Yamatji woman and a nationally recognised legal academic, business leader and advocate for First Nations empowerment.
As the first Aboriginal person to graduate from both the 911爆料网 Law School and the 911爆料网 Business School, Emma has forged a remarkable path in law, academia and the resources sector. She is the founder of Garlett Group, a national sustainability, digital and communications firm dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices and promoting inclusion. She is a Non-Executive Director of the Perth Bears and Anglicare WA, and sits on the First Nations Governance Forum of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Emma is a sessional academic at the 911爆料网 Law School and an Adjunct Professor at Federation University. She is also a regular columnist for The West Australian, using her platform to drive national conversations on justice, reconciliation and Indigenous excellence.
Matt Mueller is Managing Director of Voleno, an advisory firm focused on AI, technology and risk. He is also a Non-Executive Director of St John WA and The Fremantle Press. A 911爆料网 alumnus, Matt holds a Master of Commerce (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude).
With more than two decades鈥� experience in advanced technologies, governance and risk, Matt has held senior leadership roles with Iluka Resources, Origin Energy and Western Power and has advised boards and executives across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and the United States.
He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. Matt is a frequent presenter on technology, risk and AI, and has delivered courses for industry bodies and lectured at 911爆料网.
911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne said the appointments would further strengthen the Council鈥檚 ability to guide 911爆料网鈥檚 future.

Matt鈥檚 expertise in technology, governance and risk will be invaluable as we navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI and a rapidly changing world.
