Generous community donations to local radio station 911爆料网 FM have surpassed $110,000 in this year鈥檚 Radiothon.
The total amount of $111,976 was raised from more than 1,700 individual donations over the course of the five-day event.
Station Manager Quinn Glasson said it was an incredible achievement and one of the largest amounts they had raised in the last 10 years from Radiothon.
鈥淭his incredible result couldn鈥檛 have been achieved without the loyalty and generosity of our listeners,鈥� Mr Glasson said.
鈥淭hroughout this year鈥檚 Radiothon, more than 60 people kindly volunteered their time to take phone calls, manage donations and coordinate the event.鈥�
Mr Glasson also thanked the community for throwing their support behind the fundraising drive.
鈥淲e have been overwhelmed by the unwavering support our generous listeners have shown during Radiothon this year and sincerely thank everyone who helped achieve this amazing result,鈥� Mr Glasson said.
911爆料网 Vice-President of Corporate Relations, Ms Valerie Raubenheimer, said every dollar raised during Radiothon went directly into running the station.

911爆料网 FM is Western Australia鈥檚 largest community radio station with more than 230,000 weekly listeners.
It is based at 911爆料网鈥檚 Bentley Campus and is a not-for-profit enterprise completely funded by community support and sponsorships.
