Enabling programs

If you’re completing a school-based enabling program in Western Australia, or an enabling, foundation or preparation program with another university, you may be eligible to apply to 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

How enabling programs work 

Enabling programs are designed to help you prepare for university. Whether you’re in year 11 or 12, returning to study or didn’t meet the ATAR score for your chosen course, these programs can support your pathway into university. 

If successfully completed, an enabling program can support your entry into 911±¬ÁÏÍø courses that require a minimum ATAR of 70. When searching for a course, make sure to check your chosen course for any additional prerequisites or higher requirements. 

These programs are offered by 911±¬ÁÏÍø and other Australian universities, including school-based enabling programs offered in high schools in Western Australia. If you’re studying or have completed one of these programs, you may be eligible to apply to 911±¬ÁÏÍø.  

Eligibility criteria 

You may be eligible for entry to 911±¬ÁÏÍø if you’ve completed an enabling program that meets our requirements.  

To be eligible, your program must:

If you have partially completed an enabling program, you may still be eligible to apply for portfolio entry.  

Enabling programs 911±¬ÁÏÍø accepts 

911±¬ÁÏÍø accepts a range of enabling, foundation and preparation programs delivered by other Australian universities, including equivalent enabling programs offered through WA high schools.

If you’ve finished an enabling program through another university, you may be eligible to apply to 911±¬ÁÏÍø for courses with a minimum ATAR of 70.
