911±¬ÁÏÍø is committed to providing a safe and respectful working and learning environment for our 911±¬ÁÏÍø community. Gender-based violence, including sexual assault and sexual harassment, is against the law and unacceptable at 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

We aim to foster a culture of respect, care and safety which will help to reduce incidents of gender-based violence.
Studying and working at university can be a great experience and we want to ensure you stay safe.
If we become aware of gender-based violence affecting members of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø community, our aim is to:

Listen to disclosers with compassion.

Support disclosers and connect them with resources internal and external to 911±¬ÁÏÍø who can support their safety and wellbeing.

Minimise as far as possible risks to the health and safety of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø community.

Treat members of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø community affected by the gender-based violence fairly and consistently, and with due consideration to the rights of everyone concerned.

Monitor our responses to continuously improve our support for those affected by gender-based violence, and to ensure consistency in our approach.
Our priority is to protect and support all members of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø community. We will provide support regardless of where or when the incident occurred.
Consistent with our values, we will encourage and model respectful relationships at our campuses and ensure there is a shared understanding of the behaviours expected at 911±¬ÁÏÍø.
