Letters

Letter Confirming Enrolment

A letter which states the course you are or were enrolled in and the periods for which you are or were enrolled printed on University letterhead. The letter can include previous, current and future study periods, as long as you have an official enrolment during that time.

This is not an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment which is required for international student visas.

Letter Confirming Course Completion

A letter confirming course completion is printed on 911爆料网 Letterhead and is signed by a 911爆料网 staff member.

The document includes:

Course title
Confirmation you have met all competencies of that course
Conferral date – if produced after conferral.

This letter can be produced at any time after the result publication date for the final study period in which you were enrolled.

You can use a letter confirming course completion as evidence you have completed your course, prior to receiving your award certificate.

Confirmation of Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) letter

This letter confirms the Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) a student has been granted. It shows the total amount of credit points and the basis for which credit was granted. This letter is only available to students who have completed their course.

Graduation and award

Academic Transcript

An academic transcript is an official record of your academic history.

The complete academic transcript will include:

All courses studied at 911爆料网
Completion date
Award conferral date and number.

Additional copies can be ordered.听

911爆料网 students who have their award conferred will receive an academic transcript digitally via My eQuals with their digital graduation documents pack.

Any academic transcript ordered prior to conferral will not include the conferral date and award number. Order online via OASIS, fees apply.

911爆料网 Extra Certificate

911爆料网 Extra facilitates and recognises student development through co-curricular engagement. The 911爆料网 Extra Certificate catalogues a student’s participation in approved 911爆料网 Extra co-curricular programs.

You can review and print your 911爆料网 Extra听eRecord听through the 911爆料网 Extra Certificate channel in OASIS.

You will be given a copy of your 911爆料网 Extra Certification digitally via My eQuals. Hardcopies can be ordered online via OASIS, fees apply.

Graduation Statement

911爆料网 students who have their award conferred will receive an Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (Graduation Statement) digitally via My eQuals with their graduation documents pack.

The Graduation Statement includes:

Details of the course leading to the award
Further information about the course
The award
The institution
Australian Higher Education system
Approved special achievements of the graduate.

Special achievements include:

Member of the Vice-Chancellor’s List
Chancellor’s Commendation (Exceptional Higher Degree by Research Thesis)
Merit based scholarships awarded as part of a competitive process and administered by the 911爆料网 Scholarships Office.

A Graduation Statement is only available to for awards conferred on or after 1 November 2010.

True Copy of Award Certificate

A 911爆料网 Award Certificate is a legal document with a unique award number. You may only have one award certificate for each completed course.

If you need an additional copy of your award you may purchase a True Copy of your award certificate.

A True Copy is available for standard 911爆料网 Award Certificates if you graduated since 2000. The True Copy is similar to a 911爆料网 award certificate, but states ‘True Copy’ at the bottom of the certificate.

Replacement Award Certificate

A replacement award certificate is a legal document. The Graduation Seal will be affixed to all replacement award certificates with the notation 鈥淩eplacing Original Award dated DD Month YYYY鈥�.

Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Award Certificate

Graduates applying for a replacement award certificate will provide an original
statutory declaration, duly authorised, stating that the award certificate has been
lost, stolen or destroyed. If the original award certificate is subsequently recovered, it will be returned to the University.

Non-Receipt of Award Certificate

Where a student states that they have never received their award certificate but
University records show that it was correctly sent, a duly authorised statutory
declaration stating that the award certificate has never been received, will be
provided.

Where the request is lodged 12 months or more after conferral of the award, a fee
will be charged for a replacement award certificate.

Damaged Award Certificates

A replacement award certificate may be issued where the original is damaged. A fee will be charged for a replacement award certificate.

The damaged original will be returned to and destroyed by the Progression, Assessment and Awards Office. An award certificate may be replaced without a fee being charged under special circumstances.

Intermediate/Exit Award

An Intermediate Award is a standalone award in which students may enrol and is a recognised approved exit point from a Principal Award. Students are not required to withdraw from the Principal Award to receive an Intermediate Award.

Exit Award

An Exit Award is an approved exit point from an award course that may be available to students unable to fulfil the requirements of the award course in which they are enrolled but who have completed the requirements of another qualification.

Exit Awards will only be granted to students who have discontinued enrolment in the Principal Award.

Where a Principal Award provides for the granting of an approved Intermediate and Exit Award/s, details will be published in the University Courses Handbook.

Application and decision

An application for an Intermediate or Exit Award will be submitted by the student to the Head of School/Area on the form prescribed by the Academic Registrar, no later than 12 months following the conclusion of studies within that program. Applications received after this date may be considered if there are exceptional circumstances that prevented an earlier application.

The Head of School/Area (or nominee) will approve applications for Intermediate or Exit Awards, submitted in accordance with, where the student:

a) has completed all course requirements for the evant Intermediate or Exit Award;
b) has completed one third, or the final year (whichever is less) of the relevant Intermediate or Exit Award course via 911爆料网-provided units, inclusive of any credit for recognised learning from units undertaken at 911爆料网. Any exception to the one-third requirement will follow the requirements of the Credit Limitations Procedure, Credit for Recognised Learning Procedures;
c) is not enrolled in a Double degree (refer to Degree by Incorporation Procedure,
Admissions and Enrolment Policy and Procedures);
d) has no sanction for misconduct or outstanding debt to the University; and
e) has not completed the requirements of the Principal Award

Students will be notified of the outcome of their application听to grant an Intermediate or Exit Award within 20 working days of the decision via the Official Communications Channel (OCC).

Fees

A fee, as prescribed by the Council, will be payable for the conferral of all Exit Awards and
Intermediate Awards

International

Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

For international student on student visas only; this is a document which represents your course of study, duration and associated tuition fees. It is issued to you by the University on behalf of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations for the purpose of acquiring a student visa or visa extension.

You will need to meet specific requirements before you can be issued with a COE.

Letter to Confirm Graduation

This document is produced on official 911爆料网 letterhead to aid in obtaining visas for international students wishing to remain in Australia, or return to Australia, in order to attend a 911爆料网 graduation ceremony once they have completed their course.听
