National Reconciliation Week (NRW)<\/a> is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From 27 May to 3 June, this year\u2019s theme \u201cNow More Than Ever<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0is a reminder us all that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will\u2014and must\u2014continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before NRW, National Sorry Day<\/a> (26 May), remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, recognised as The Stolen Generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This NRW, visit a range of events to learn more about the role you can play towards Reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n Friday 31 May, 12.00pm to 2.00pm<\/strong><\/p> Langley Park, East Perth<\/strong><\/p> The Walk for Reconciliation is a National Reconciliation Week event hosted by Reconciliation Western Australia. <\/p><\/div> Friday 31 May, 12.00pm<\/strong><\/p> Koombana Foreshore<\/strong><\/p> Reconciliation WA is supporting the City of Bunbury in presenting the NRW Bunbury Walk for Reconciliation.<\/p><\/div> From 27 May – 3 June, Reconciliation Western Australia are hosting a range of free and ticketed events in Perth, regional WA and online to get involved with.<\/p><\/div>
