  {"id":13983,"date":"2022-12-05T06:24:47","date_gmt":"2022-12-04T22:24:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/covid-19-update-19-january\/"},"modified":"2022-12-07T11:28:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T03:28:37","slug":"covid-19-update-19-january","status":"publish","type":"oasis-news","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/covid-19-update-19-january\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Update: 19 January"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Second exposure site identified &#8211; Building 102 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The University has been advised by the WA Health Department of another exposure site related to the person who tested positive to COVID-19 on Saturday 15 January.<\/p>\n<p>The person was also in 911爆料网 Connect in Building 102 on Friday 14 January\u00a0from 2pm &#8211; 2.45pm.\u00a0Any members of the 911爆料网 community who were in these buildings at this time must get tested immediately and isolate until you receive a negative result, unless directly advised otherwise by the Department of Health.\u00a0 Please also contact <a href=\"mailto:covidconcern@curtin.edu.au\" data-cke-saved-href=\"mailto:covidconcern@curtin.edu.au\">covidconcern@curtin.edu.au<\/a> so we can provide you with advice and support.<\/p>\n<p>We have been advised the venues can remain open.<\/p>\n<p>I realise there may be an increased level of anxiety among some\u00a0students following this one positive case. I want to assure you 911爆料网 is responding to Health Department notifications and advice, and is communicating this as swiftly as possible so that staff and students are informed. The University will continue to impart this information as quickly as it comes to hand.<\/p>\n<p>As always, please follow health and safety guidelines including wearing masks indoors, checking in to venues, sanitising, practising physical distancing and staying home if you feel unwell. Support is also available through 911爆料网&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/students.curtin.edu.au\/personal-support\/counselling-guidance\/counselling\/\" data-emb-href-display=\"students.curtin.edu.au\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/students.curtin.edu.au\/personal-support\/counselling-guidance\/counselling\/\">Psychological and Counselling Services.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Going forward, the University will be reviewing and updating all relevant operational and health and safety protocols to keep the 911爆料网 community safe.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone in the 911爆料网 community who experiences COVID-19 symptoms should be tested, and remain isolated until they receive a negative result.
