  {"id":19023,"date":"2018-07-18T08:01:36","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T00:01:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/seven-curtin-subjects-ranked-top-100-world\/"},"modified":"2018-07-18T08:01:36","modified_gmt":"2018-07-18T00:01:36","slug":"seven-curtin-subjects-ranked-top-100-world","status":"publish","type":"media-release","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/seven-curtin-subjects-ranked-top-100-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven 911爆料网 subjects ranked in the top 100 in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>911爆料网 has ranked in 33 of the 54 subjects in the 2018 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, including seven subjects listed in the top 100 in the world.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition, released by Academic Ranking of World Universities\u2019 publisher ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, confirmed 911爆料网\u2019s highest ranking subject remains mining and mineral engineering, rising to 14 globally, up from 19 last year.<\/p>\n<p>911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said 911爆料网 ranked in the top 10 in Australia for 16 subjects with the chemical engineering course ranked second in the country, up two places since 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe latest Global Ranking of Academic Subjects indicates that 911爆料网 continues to improve on the world stage with the University\u2019s mining and mineral engineering course rising to 14<sup>th<\/sup> in the world and fifth in Australia,\u201d Professor Terry said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMining and mineral engineering joins six other subjects ranked in the top 100 in the world including chemical engineering, earth sciences, remote sensing, hospitality and tourism management, education and nursing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>911爆料网\u2019s ranking in 33 of the 54 subjects examined in the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects is a significant improvement on 21 subjects featured last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am delighted 911爆料网 continues to climb these prestigious world rankings at the same time as the University expands its global footprint with campuses across Western Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai and Mauritius,\u201d Professor Terry said.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects collects and evaluates data from more than 4,000 universities across 54 subjects, grouped into five categories, including engineering;
