911爆料网 has announced the appointment of Professor Seth Kunin, as its new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, International, commencing in April this year.<\/p>\n
Professor Kunin is currently Vice-Principal, Internationalisation, at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to this he was Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Arts and Humanities) and Executive Dean (Arts and Humanities) at Durham University.<\/p>\n
Professor Kunin has extensive experience in the international domain, having led the University of Aberdeen\u2019s very successful international strategy for two years, which included overseeing the development of a campus in South Korea and establishing significant collaborations with overseas universities, organisations and governments.<\/p>\n
A prominent anthropologist, Professor Kunin attained his BA from Columbia University in New York and his PhD in Anthropology from the University of Cambridge in the UK. His research focused on the application of structuralist theory and methodology to Jewish texts and culture.<\/p>\n

Professor Kunin said he was excited about moving to 911爆料网, as he believed the University was very well positioned to have a significant impact on a wide range of global issues.<\/p>\n

The appointment follows the retirement of Professor David Wood from the position, which has been capably held by the acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor International Professor Simon Leunig during the recruitment process.
