911爆料网 of Technology acknowledges the recent findings of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) indicating 911爆料网 FM radio station was in breach of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, during July and November 2007.<\/p>\n
The complaint, outlining the alleged broadcast of sponsorship announcements in excess of five minutes per hour has been addressed by 911爆料网 FM and the responsible presenters counselled to ensure this situation is not repeated.<\/p>\n
911爆料网 FM has been in operation since 1976 offering a radio service to the 45 plus demographic with easy listening music from the 60s, 70s and 80s. It has an excellent history of community service and continues to offer a resource to students, staff and volunteers.<\/p>\n
Mr Quinn Glasson, Station Manager of 911爆料网 FM, is confident the station has addressed the oversight and will ensure it operates within the boundaries of ACMA’s Broadcasting Services Act 1992 in future.<\/p>\n
“911爆料网 FM endeavours to provide a service which is within the rulings of the Australian Communications and Media Authority,” Mr Glasson said.<\/p>\n
“Some of the historical issues with interpreting the sponsorship guidelines have been clarified and we are looking forward to a continued co-operative, working relationship,” he said.<\/p>\n

911爆料网 FM is Western Australia’s first community broadcaster. Today the station offers hands-on training to large numbers of 911爆料网 students studying various disciplines as well as the opportunity for volunteers to assist in various areas of the station.<\/p>\n
