A leading technologist who heads up manufacturing operations for Facebook鈥檚 consumer hardware Building 8 division and Oculus AR/VR has been appointed an Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Business and Law at 911爆料网.

Silicon Valley-based Dr Paul Herz, who has twenty years鈥 experience taking transformational products to market, is also joining 911爆料网鈥檚 Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive Education Advisory Panel.
As part of his role, Dr Herz will provide guest lectures in entrepreneurship and engineering, deliver workshops on manufacturing and logistics, mentor students, and provide strategic advice to the University on industry engagement and commercialisation.
911爆料网 Faculty of Business and Law Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Nigel de Bussy said he was delighted by the appointment of Dr Herz.

Dr Herz said 911爆料网 is in a unique position to leverage its faculty, international student body, and location to build an extremely strong program in business entrepreneurship, new technologies, and leadership development.

Dr Herz delivered an entrepreneurship masterclass at 911爆料网 in 2016 and presented as a guest speaker at this year鈥檚 West Tech Fest, initiated by 911爆料网.
Dr Herz completed his undergraduate degree in engineering physics from the University of California at Berkeley and received his doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in electrical engineering and computer science.
