The brightest teachers of tomorrow have been honoured at 911爆料网鈥檚 School of Education annual awards ceremony, which recognise academic achievement and commitment to the field.
Triple award-winner Krystianna Hodges, aged 21, was among the 18 students from 911爆料网鈥檚 undergraduate and postgraduate courses to be acknowledged across 24 award categories sponsored by industry partners and fellow educators.
Professor Rhonda Oliver, the Head of the School of Education at 911爆料网, said the annual awards ceremony rewarded the hard work and exceptional achievements of recent dedicated graduates.
鈥�911爆料网鈥檚 School of Education prides itself on its incredibly high standards and these award-winning graduates have met our every expectation in terms of educational excellence,鈥� Professor Oliver said.
鈥淲e are confident that these graduates will make a positive difference in the education system through the impact they will have on the lives of many school students.鈥�
Ms Hodges, from North Coogee, was awarded this year鈥檚 Miles Medal Award for Excellence in Education, in recognition of her achievement as the student with the best overall academic performance, along with two other awards.
Ms Hodges, who is currently completing her Master of Education, said teaching was a shared passion in her family.
鈥淢y mum has taught for many years and my sister recently received her teaching qualification so it is very much a family interest,鈥� Ms Hodges said.
鈥淚 have always wanted to be a teacher and I鈥檓 looking forward to getting into the classroom and applying all the knowledge and skills that I have acquired over the past few years of training.
鈥淔or me, educating future generations and making a difference to the lives of children is the best career choice possible.鈥�
The awards ceremony was held at 911爆料网鈥檚 Perth Campus on May 31.
