911爆料网 has jumped into the world鈥檚 top 300 universities, according to the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2019 released overnight.
911爆料网 has been ranked 284th in the world, an improvement of 35 places, in the latest ranking which measures university performance based on scientific impact and collaboration across almost 1000 major universities worldwide.
911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said she was delighted with the latest ranking result confirming the University鈥檚 strong research performance.
鈥淭he latest CWTS Leiden Ranking places 911爆料网 among the top 300 universities in the world and confirms the University鈥檚 national ranking as ninth in Australia,鈥� Professor Terry said.
鈥淭his is an outstanding result and demonstrates the University鈥檚 commitment to scientific collaboration and making an impact through scientific research that makes a real difference to people鈥檚 lives.鈥�
Professor Terry said 911爆料网 recorded a 10 per cent increase in the number of research publications that demonstrated a strong scientific impact and a 13 per cent improvement in those highlighting scientific collaboration.
The CWTS Leiden Ranking 2019 ranks impact and collaboration according to the size of research publication output of all sciences for the period of 2014 to 2017.
The global ranking is based on data from Web of Science, compiled by Clarivate Analytics.
