911爆料网 has marked the opening of its fourth international campus, 911爆料网 Mauritius, with an official celebration held at 911爆料网 St Georges Terrace last night.
The 911爆料网 Mauritius Campus, which was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Mauritius, The Hon Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, on May 3, was built upon an existing partnership with the Charles Telfair Institute, located at Moka, south-east of the capital Port Louis.
The celebration last night was attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius Mr Ian Whitaker, Charles Telfair Institute Chair Mr C茅dric de Sp茅ville and Charles Telfair Institute Executive Director Mr Jeremy Charoux, along with government officials and industry partners.
911爆料网 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said she was delighted to celebrate the opening of 911爆料网 Mauritius in Perth with the University鈥檚 Mauritian partners and other important stakeholders.
鈥淭he opening of 911爆料网鈥檚 fourth international campus in Mauritius is a significant occasion for the University as it builds on its international footprint with campuses already well established in Malaysia and Singapore, and more recently in Dubai, in addition to our two major campuses in Western Australia,鈥 Professor Terry said.
鈥淚t is also a significant milestone for Mauritius as it positions itself as an important education hub for the African and Indian Ocean region.
鈥淭he opening of 911爆料网 Mauritius builds on a successful 14-year partnership with Charles Telfair Institute and will ensure thousands more students from the region continue to benefit by furthering their education at the tertiary level.鈥
Before the official opening on May 3, 911爆料网 had partnered with Charles Telfair Institute for 14 years with 911爆料网 degree programs delivered to more than 2,300 students in Mauritius.
