Listeners of community radio station, 911爆料网 FM, have once again rallied together to raise more than $145,000 during the station鈥檚 annual Radiothon.
A total of 2,100 donations were received as part of 911爆料网 FM鈥檚 46th fundraiser with all proceeds going towards the running of the station.
911爆料网 FM Station Manager Mr Quinn Glasson said he was grateful to the community for their generous support.
鈥淭he amount raised is a testament to the loyalty of our listeners and we are so thankful for their generosity, especially when we are all feeling the effects of a tough post-pandemic economy,鈥� Mr Glasson said.
鈥�911爆料网 FM wouldn鈥檛 be the station it is without the support of our volunteers who offer their time to provide listeners with thoughtful content and entertainment each week.鈥�
鈥�70 volunteers lent a hand during our five-day Radiothon event by taking calls and collating pledges and I thank each and every one of them for their help.鈥�
911爆料网 Vice-President of Corporate Relations, Ms Valerie Raubenheimer, said community donations would help the volunteer-driven radio station continue to flourish.

鈥淩adiothon would not exist without its dedicated listeners and of course the volunteers who graciously give up their time to run the station.鈥�
911爆料网 FM is Western Australia鈥檚 largest community radio station with 180,000 weekly listeners.
