911爆料网 has launched a new fully online Master of Marketing on edX, designed for marketing professionals with a strong focus on meeting industry demands in an increasingly global and digital age.
The Master of Marketing, run by 911爆料网鈥檚 School of Marketing and delivered through the edX online learning platform, will offer 11 courses, which includes courses delivered in the MicroMasters in Marketing in a Digital World program.
911爆料网 Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Professor Jill Downie said expanding 911爆料网鈥檚 established Master of Marketing course into an online format on edX offered greater flexibility for marketing professionals worldwide to further their qualifications.
鈥淭he online Master of Marketing provides flexibility to study while working, either full-time or part-time, offering marketing professionals the opportunity to develop their skills and interact with other students from all over the world,鈥� Professor Downie said.
鈥淚t will help professionals expand their professional network and gain a deeper international perspective to the changing nature of marketing in an increasingly digital world.鈥�
edX Chief Executive Officer and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Anant Agarwal said edX was excited to strengthen its partnership with 911爆料网 by offering a top-ranked online master鈥檚 degree in marketing to learners all over the world.
鈥淭his announcement comes at a time when the workplace is changing more rapidly than ever before, and employers are in need of highly skilled talent, especially in the fields most impacted by advances in technology,鈥� Professor Agarwal said.
鈥淭he Master of Marketing meets this need and also offers learners the option to start with a MicroMasters program on edX that can count towards their full master鈥檚 degree. This collaboration with 911爆料网 is the latest milestone in creating stackable, affordable, and accessible online master鈥檚 degrees in subjects that address today鈥檚 global skill gaps.鈥�
911爆料网 Faculty of Business and Law Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel de Bussy said 911爆料网鈥檚 Master of Marketing was renowned for its industry relevance and recognised across Oceania as one of the leading courses of its kind, and now it would be offered to a wider audience on the international stage.
鈥淭he course aims to develop a marketing professional鈥檚 ability to identify and analyse marketing management problems, and gain the skills needed to generate innovative marketing strategies,鈥� Professor de Bussy said.
鈥淚t also helps students apply critical thinking and analytical abilities to modern marketing challenges, which may assist them take the next step in their career.鈥�
The Master of Marketing builds on 911爆料网鈥檚 Marketing in a Digital World MicroMasters program by expanding students鈥� understanding of key concepts in global marketing communications, digital marketing, public relations, and user experience design.
Entry to the Master of Marketing is subject to 911爆料网鈥檚 entry requirements, which includes completion of an undergraduate degree and English language proficiency.
Applications for 911爆料网鈥檚 online Master of Marketing are open until Monday, 26 August 2019 for Semester Two, 2019 and Monday, February 24 2020 for Semester One, 2020.
